thank you for the replies. my wife is posting this for me and the 3 should be type 3 and is what I told her via a Packard book. I am about to try using a syringe for the filling of oil. thanks for letting me know there is a difficult process for this.

would like to know how to fill shock absorber with oil.tried to fill through plug on top and it will not fill. it just runs over.i am actuating shock arm and it does not help.
Help, please.

thank you. my hsb just completed reading your helpful information.
Do you think there is any worth in my continuing to search for wiring diagram or other schematics for this challenge ? I do not mind doing this for him (dislikes intensely the computer etc except for info I can obtain for him) but dislike chasing feathers.

Does anyone know if there is a separate brochure for heaters/accessories ? there does not seem to be any info in the booklet that we have re the wiring,buttons levers etc.
I have done searches for any brochures etc on this and have come up empty handed so far.

Looking for an under dash mount 6V gas gauge. 1941 Packard 1900 series. I am never sure if this is the appropriate avenue for posting one's searches.

As we are preparing to select colors for our 1941 Packard, I am getting opposing information. will the firewall be painted a standard color regardless of the paint color for the car's body ?
