Sorry guys!!!
One of you questioned whether I know my PACKARDS from my PLYMOUTHS. Guess Amazon changed the cover from the original book version of 'the Jade Continent'. Nice picture tho (if you like muscle cars!)

I mentioned The Jade Continent novel by James Orlando, well guess what? My youngest son drew my attention to Packards in the Tin Tin books. He'd googled Herge's "Tin Tin's Cars" by Dardel.info and it's a real cool site. Worth taking a look (but no '56 model unfortunately).

Hi guys,
Anyone noticed the cover of a new novel by James Orlando called the Jade Continent? Yes, a '56 Packard! It only plays a supporting role however as the 'lead' character is a '57 Chevy (see The Jade Nomad, described as "best car novel since Stephen King's Christine") well worth downloading from Amazon Books...
