Hello,

I'm looking for body and exterior parts for a 1922 Packard Twin Six. Everything you would see from standing outside the car. Are there good reproduction/fiberglass kits available for this? Salvage yards a day's drive from NJ/NYC anyone can recommend? Or recommendations of similar looking parts from other models that are easier to find.

I checked with our owner Fred Kanter on this one. Here is a note from him:

Having been in the Packard parts and cars business for 56 years and familiar with many eastern junkyards, I've never seen an early Twin Six in any yard. I have seen some parts and parts cars at the annual Hershey swap meet but that goes back many years. It would be unusual to find one in any yard in the US as collectors and restorers have sought them out since at least the early 50's.

There was a Twin Six collector specialist in Oklahoma, Brad Skinner, a nicer gentleman you'd never find. He passed away perhaps 20 years ago, I do not know what became of his cars and parts but for sure some collector(s) have them.
