G'day Nickpackard,
to PackardInfo, but sorry I can't help with your query. However, I invite you to include your '40 120 Convertible Coupe in the Packard Owner's Registry.

I suspect it would just say Packard, if cloisonne.
If there was a specific 120 trunk rack medallion, it might be pretty rare. But my buddy Vaughn sacrificed the front 120 butterfly grill piece to make the base for my Super 8 trunk rack medallion, so that might be an alternative. And there's eBay: ebay.com/itm/1940-Packard-hood-emblems/1 ... b68d7:g:VEMAAOSwImRYYDGi:rk:18:pf:0

it is the "standard" PMCC medallion, reproduced by John Ulrich. You are sporting a senior rack, no doubt the reason for the senior emblem.

This is an interesting question, flackmaster.
John Ulrich lists this standard Junior medallion for 1935-1939. But why not 1940? And is there a Junior rack for 1940? How rare are those? Just asking. Attach file: (7.54 KB)

I looked through Jim Hollingsworth's book: "Packard 1940 a Pivotal Year" for photos of the trunk rack medallions. None were shown. He did note in the Accessories Section that the racks for the 110s and 120s were a $28 option, $39 for the 160s and standard on the 180s. This book is highly recommended for any owner of a 1940 Packard. Unfortunately, Jim passed a few years ago and the availability of the book is uncertain.
Here is a photo of the rack medallion that was on my 37 Six.

Thank you for replying. There was a 1940 Junior rack, just have not found any info on it.

I'm not sure if it's authentic or not but I found this image through a Google search on a 1940 120 Club Sedan that is apparently low mileage and original with many accessories such as sidemounts and, of course, the trunk rack.
Also, I believe for 1940 that the license light glass lettering should be clear rather than painted.
