We continue to work on sticking throttle issue on a 640.
Found that the accelerator pedal spring 116325 has been replaced with an inadequate part and a second spring added on the vacuum tank side. Does anyone know the specifications for the correct accelerator pedal spring? We are finding length ?? (4"),Coil 0.5-.075" diameter, Wire size roughly .060", extended length?? Minimum load ??( 1-2#), Rate ?? (1.7-3) lbs/inch.
Material ?? (Stainless or Music wire) , Ends hook.
Any help would be appreciated.

We have tested a large number of springs for this application and found that Lee Spring LE 069G 07 S is the best.
Its specifications in inches are:
OD= 0.75"
Wire Diameter+ 0.069"
Max Load (lb) = 13.7445
Spring rate constant (lb/in)= 2.27
Max. Extended Length = 9.46"
Initial Tension (lb)= 1.3328
Free Length= 4"
Material = Stainless steel
Loop Inside Dia 0.612
Body Length = 2.776"
Total Coils 39.5
Price= $14.07 each
