I am compelled to make comment on this...someone has expended so much thought and money into this vehicle....It appears to be a fine vehicle to drive ..but...I am not able to detect a Packard lineage in this car. Whoever devised the car determined that a modern powertrain in an antique chassis would be so cool. I dunno.... I am not precious about the "modernisation" concept as I have a 38- 120 with a souped-up 1954 327 bored out to 340, with an R6 OD. It is a "sleeper" and gives the BMW's a big scare at the traffic lights and has seen 190 kph on the GPS. I suppose that I am just a Packard guy and if it is modernised... then it should be with Packard stuff. Perhaps my "use by" date is becoming too obvious. PT
