Received my cans and rings back from the plater and have the fitting and new bolt ready to attach. I have obtained two reflectors but the one shown seems to be the one that fits my cans. It has two tabs at 3 and 9 o'clock that look like the fit into each other to align the reflector. My reflectors have two lamp sockets. I know the center one is a two filament bulb for high and low beams. Is the other for parking light bulb? Does it go at 12 or 6 o'clock? Or does the 526 not have two lamp sockets?
I also had Olson's gaskets make me a couple of cork strips to place around the reflector to make the lens tight when the ring is attached. Can anyone tell me how to assemble the light correctly. Are there any lens clips, what are the hole and slot in the reflector at 6 and 12 o'clock for?

Where can I get the adjustment assy that fits on the inside of the can? Right now I am planning to fill the holes with chrome machine screws and use new fixed bulb sockets in the reflectors.

Successful restoration of Drum Headlights. I now have one complete assembly. The can and lenses came from Australia, the ring from E-bay, the reproduction lens from Henry Yeska, the lens clips and light sockets from Restoration Supply, and small pieces from helpful members of this forum.

I had to manufacture the clip on the bottom of the ring from a brass strip. I removed the reflector socket receipticals and installed light sockets that have direct screw attachments so I can feed the light wires into the can through a rubber grommet rather than a quick disconnect as it was originally made. I did not install the original lamp adjusting mechanism inside the can since the new lamp sockets are fixed but placed similar screws and nuts in the holes on the back of the can. I found lens clips at Restoration Supply and had Olson's Gaskets make me a cork gasket to fit between the reflector and lens. Art Brass in Seattle did some restoration of the can to remove dents and solder some cracks and niclkle plated and polished the lights.
I am waiting for a second reflector from Henry Yeska and I will have a complete set of lights for my '28 526.
