To isolate the fuel pump from block heat there is a thick gasket between the pump body flange and block along with some insulating bushings that go in the large holes. Some fiber washers then go between the body and flat washers on the steel mounting bolts. The entire combination keeps the body isolated and heat from transferring to the pump housing.
Max Merritt or Kanter may have a kit for a 37. Max shows a kit for the 38-42 pumps but I don't know what the difference might be for a 37.

Terrill Machine in Deleon TX can also supply the bushings. The fuel pump fastens to the block with bolts, I think they are 5/16, but that’s going off memory.
