Not to much to them. If i remember the Diaphragm is just a thin paper gasket material. Things mostly for show and no go.

Yes, the original diaphragm was treated paper, they were very long-lived and may still be functional. If not a repro in rubber was offered by Classic and Exotic and may still be available from the successor company for their reproduction parts business.
