I would check for vacuum leak around intake manifold and carb base. Poor Idle can also be caused by bad or improperly gaped points. Check those next.

Yes, I wes also thinking that, What I always do is make sure my intake/exhaust manifold nuts are tight at least once a year, and did this last week, today I will spray around the intake and carbuator base, also check for vaccum leaks, thinking about this had to use my wipers recently and have a feeling that may be the reason for a vacuum leak if I have one. GREAT suggestion and thank you

Disconnect and plug the wiper vacuum source at the intake manifold. If your distributor has a vacuum advance, it's possible the diaphragm is leaking air.

PROBLEM FIXED! Well, I spent lots of time checking vacuum leaks, removed Carburetor and took apart and cleaned, still same issue! so I decided to pull the distributor and GUESS WHAT? the advance plate where the advance bearing reside was loose as a goose! fortunately I have many distributor parts in my stash so I installed a good advance plate. Car now idles at 450RPM and is smooth as silk
Checked points dwell is at 30, then capped off distributor vacuum and also wiper motor line, same issue but think issue is dirt in system, why? removed the carburetor air horn nut and found crud in the filter plus the jet, blew out the jet and then ran again, same issue but tomorrow will pull the Carburetor disassemble and clean thoroughly and of course change my fuel feed filters.
