Just got home from our annual "polk street cruise". Half of downtown is blocked off so that everyone with a old and/or unusual car can cruise downtown. (Unfortunately that means you see a lot of new camaros, mustangs and corvettes ). I took the 35 coupe and I never heard so many people say: "what is that?" Or "look there's a Packard". As usual it is very busy, I guess 500-700 cars and a lot of stop and go (and a lot of overheating usually). To my suprised I found someone with a 1950 eight touring sedan. I had him pull up in front of me so the packards could cruise together for a while.
