Hello all,

It was a beautiful southern Arizona day yesterday. The intense heat of our desert is slowly leaving and it is time for car shows. I've attended this show for the last three years and it has a fine reputation. Rotary International here in Tucson supports literacy for children and all monies go to foster those endeavors.

I'll be attaching a number of pictures to this thread, so please give a few minutes to reduce and downsize some of the files.

The first photos are of fellow Tucson AACA member. I must remember that this 115c was one of Packard's lower or less expensive autos that year. But each time I stood next to it I was overcome with how beautiful cars like this are. This Packard took first place in its class.

Here is Panama Red! This 1954 Packard Clipper has been at other shows I've attended. Today she was awarded first place in the 1949 to 1958 domestic auto class we both entered.

Panama Red is a beautifully restored car that is driven regularly.

Lastly, the 400 was honored with second place and proud Papa is seen holding the "bling". Third place in our class went to the Hudson 2 door seen above. I was told that over 400 vehicles were on the field for this show (that's big for Tucson).
