Want to Buy: 32-34 Eight Sedan driver.
Well, pretty sure this is allowed and quite specifically looking for a car that isn't currently for sale. I know I want to make a jump to a prewar and 99% sure it needs to be a Packard. In an ideal world I'm looking for a prior restoration that's more driver quality than show quality. I DRIVE MY CARS. I have no room in my life for garage queens. I think I'm looking for a 1932 - 1934 super eight sedan of some sort. I've got younger kids, they love to come with and I live in Wisconsin where the roads generally work well with older vehicles (as does the culture).
I'd like to find the guy who's getting older (wiser) and been thinking about selling before their estate has no idea what to do and fire-sales it to a flipper. I'm that guy that wants all the parts, the story, the documents, the EVERYTHING that goes with the car to preserve it's story and history. I want to know everything about the car and all it's peers and quite frankly that's difficult to learn unless that knowledge is passed. I'd very much like to see it hit centurion status and well beyond.
So anyone out there thinking "maybe it's time"?
