Interested in buying an un-modified, unmolested, running, driving 1956 Four Hundred or Patrician. Preferably with factory air conditioning. Looking for a presentable car that has not been modified or hot-rodded or customized.

Of course, need to see photos. Feel free to PM me. Thanks!

I know of a 55 400 for sale without A/C in well-kept shape. I don't know if you're looking for museum quality or just driving-to-car-shows quality.

Info here:
packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/registry/index.php?Action=view&ID=3776

I also know of a nice 56 Clipper Deluxe for sale with aftermarket A/C.

Both in Pittsburgh PA.

The car has been driven and displayed at our local car show, and at our car club meetings. After ten years of being a care taker its time to pass this car on.
Other than polishing and buffing an older repaint, the exterior looks much as it did when we bought it. (A nice looking20 footer, condition three in Old Cars and Parts). The interior has been redone. Seating material, door panels, and carpeting all were replaced with original pattern materials from SMS. A list of what has been done while in my possession is available along with photos via E mail. I have been able to put the list of what I did but am having trouble attaching pictures. I am able to e-mail them if you want to see the interior or exterior.

happy,

If the '56 Four Hundred you are selling is this one in the Packard Vehicle Registry could you advise when it is sold so the Registry entry can be updated?

And Leon(Leeedy), don't forget to include your new '56 Patrican or Four Hundred in the Packard Vehicle Registry when you purchase it.

Looks like it has been repainted? Seems to be a bit on the very expensive side

Maybe, and it's from Max Merritt, so I'm not surprised. That said, it's a car, and most don't sell for what was asked.

He asked for unmolested. I found one. And someone always wants to question either the manner or the foundling.
