Hello friends...I see there is a gas tank for my 52 Packard 300 available on Kanter's website for $349 plus shipping. I'll give them a call tomorrow. Is that the quickest place to get a decent gas tank?

I understand it is a well-made tank. You should be happy with it. Comes with straps, sending unit, etc.

Hi Carl. I bought the full gas tank kit (with new straps, sender, t-bolts) for my '52 200. Perfect fit, exact replica. I think it's the better option rather than fighting rust, though my old tank also had dents, holes, and a rusted sender.

I ordered it this morning. I was on hold for nearly 15 minutes, not bad. $459 complete kit (sending unit, straps, cap, tank) plus shipping came to $519. 2-3 weeks.

Of the standard color schemes for the 1952 Packard 300s, what are your favorites? What would you recommend? The black and tan I have now is not original, I believe it was green on green. I considered that but the family is not a fan.
