My old fan belt is showing wear & am asking for advice on where to obtain new belt & manuf? Per Packard Master Parts book it is either a 320517 or 351106? Local parts store seem not equipped.

Only remaining source I know of is Ulrich.

Well, if you know the length and width then you should be able to source *something* that will fit. I had a 2001 Mitsubishi mirage that I had to do that for, took be a good two days to find a suitable belt.

Ulrich is probably the only source for these belts. Be aware that getting these wide and stiff belts off and on can be challenging. It can be done, don't give up.

Just FYI, I heard back from John Ulirich today that due to losing his supplier he no longer carries fan felts for the 356ci.

My very old Dayco catalog lists the belt number for the prewar 356 engine as #34500. I can faintly recall buying a belt for my 1950 Custom 8 identified as a Gates 880. Those numbers are probably obsolete but perhaps you can trace something from them.
