There will be many Packard owners at Salado who will be glad to help you with the restoration of your 1949 Packard. We are also expecting a major Packard parts supplier to be in attendance; hopefully, with a good supply of their wares to sell.

These guys are right near me, and they are the only people I know of that come close to making what you need. They aren't perfect, and they have to make them for the worst case scenario. The alternative, and what we all had to do before these were made is go to a clean metal state and cut a floor board out, or get some metal and get busy making floor boards from scratch, which is also "fun" and requires lots of special equipment.

"I have read in the forums that none of the floor pans come ready to install as they most always need trimming or cutting. "
This is normal for any floor repair, and most body rust repair. A considerable amount of hand work is involved in cutting out the bad parts, trimming and fitting the new panel and welding it in place.
