my 55 clippers TL is new 2 me . the only time it works is when im going through the trans gears and the rear goes up and down and i hear strange noises from under the dash or underneath lower . thanx kevin from kentucky

look under the rear axle, there are rubber bushings on top and bottom of axle,

the lower front go, but the bottom ones wear ,,

if you have bushings,

then you need to check wiring,

many threads on this.

Take a look at the suspension section in the service manual starting on page 8. As already mentioned, look at the rubber bushings in the upper A arms and rear axle.

There was a discussion about a snapping sound in the 55's. look up service technical bulletin 55T-37.
