have had one h of a time trying to start 56 400,, anyone one rebuild with rhodes lifters?, rechecking crank cam timing tomorrow, which i know i did right, and i hear rotor should be at # 1 when 0 marks crank and cam are at 12. if that all checks out ,

then its lifters,,,push rods are nos. even if packard has zero lash, i hear you still need 100 thou clearance. which is damn near an 1/8 inch.. only thing would be rhodes lifters are longer...
