V is onyx which I believe is a very dark if not black color and I believe is the upper color. There are some faded paint chips on site as well as some in the 55 dealer albumpackardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/article/view.article.php?174 You might be interested in checking out the dealer album as it shows the car features, some of the upholstery samples as well as the paint codes and combinations available for the various models.
56 would be the stock upholstery combination available for the Constellation -- black cloth with red vinyl but I don't find a 36 mentioned for the Constellation in 55. 36 was a combination in gray cloth with red vinyl for the Panama -- but I suppose might have been available on a Constellation if requested.
