Jack should be along any moment but if that bearing is NOS & you can remove it without damaging it, they are pretty hard to come by.

Yes, just remove the bearing and mount the convertor like usual.

Engine must have been in a standard trans car because that is the pilot bearing. A special size in 55-6 and unless something has changed in the last couple of years, as 64avanti said in his post, it has been reported exact replacements are not that plentiful. If it is still good try to get it out without damage and hang on to it. Maybe someone else could use it.
