For a Packard, $300.
Recently I was at an estate auction where a junk dealer I knew bought a 59 DeSoto, 55 Plymouth, 49 Chrysler 1940 Plymouth and 1952 Chevrolet for between $300 and $600 apiece. I was surprised he paid so much, but he told me he paid way more than they were worth, to keep them away from another junkman he has a grudge against. Maybe you can invite them to your next auction.

IIRC about 45 days ago local was paying $215/ton. Packard at about 4300 pounds would be about $450. Seperate battery, radiator mayb a few other items from the car and about another $30 more. Scrap metal prices vary weekly.

Latest price at local small town junk yard $22O a ton. No doubt the big city is higher.
