John (Appin) was working on the removing the head and blown head gasket, when he started to hear piping noises.

He looked up to locate the source of this noise and there on the bonnet where the hood ornament goes was perched a Wild King Parrot.

It had flown into the garage to tell John there was no food in the feeder outside.

Looked at the picture first before I read the story. I didn't think that was a Cormorant!

Seriously, it's good to see the wildlife at Appin is friendly, spectacular, and apparently very resourceful so will never go hungry.

Now that's a beautiful ornament, best I've ever seen on any car! Where's the Disney animatronics people?
