Are clocks inter-changeable?

To what extent are clocks inter-changeable between Packards of a particular spread of years/models? For example, would a clock from a 1937 Packard 120 coupe fit a 1938 Packard 120 sedan?

To be more specific, say you're missing a clock from a 1938 Packard 120 coupe, but have a clock from a 1938 Packard sedan, would that work?

Can the same be said of radios?

As always

The clock will fit but 38 had a unique face and hand design. The clock face mimicked the speedometer.
