Here's how Packard described the camshaft and rocker oiling for the 1937 320 engine. I would guess but can't guarantee that the 385 engine used the same methodology.

Tnak you for quick answr. The oil follow the same directions on the 1004 Super 8 as on the 1937 320 engine. But I still wonder if the cam shaft shall be closed in the front with a plug to build up higher pressure in the shaft for better oiling of the cam bearings. Enclosed toy can find a picture of the cam shaft for a 6-series Super 8 never been disamled.
