Split in diaphragm? If there is, could be sucking fuel into sump(pan).

The lever and linkages which operates the pump are exposed to oil in the crankcase. The chamber where the linkage sits is separated from the areas the diaphragms sit and the chamber they work (which is vented to outside air) by an oil seal around the rod(s) that operate the diaphragm(s). The first guess is a seal has failed allowing oil to enter the vented diaphragm space and the pump is need of a rebuild.
If you have a dual pump with the vacuum portion it is also possible the vacuum diaphragm has failed and vacuum from the intake manifold is pulling oil into the pump and the seals cannot contain the excess. As has been mentioned there could be fuel getting into the crankcase too if a diaphragm has problems so best repair the pump before more driving. Here are views of the pumps used in 40 models. You can see the location of the oil seals in each pump.
