The last owner of my car was crippled so he installed power steering on my car.I wish to change it back.I have the drag link. But do not have any of the other parts I will need.I think I will need the ,Ilder arm, pitman arm,and both inner control arms. Also a few bits and pieces.Am I right? I will need to come up with those parts as well. Brian

Contact Mike Dulinski or one of the usual commercial suspects (Kanter, Chirco, etc). If one the latter, bring your fat wallet.

BTW, the title of the thread (Power Brakes) does not match your lead post (Power Steering). I presume it is the latter.

Craig, Mike is not familiar with anything prior to 1954.And Yeah, I knew not to go to the "big" suppliers first. The part on the end of the drag link gives a disturbing "clunk" If you hit a bump. it is actually hitting the inner control rod.Its got to go. Brian

Go to your local NAPA store and talk to one of the "old guys". That's what I did on my 63 Tempest front end rebuild. Some of the stuff they get from Kanter, but there are other sources not familiar to any of us not in the biz. I could get EVERY PART from NAPA, if I so chose.

Brian, if you hit a dead end at the napa, let me know. i could prob. come up with part numbers they can cross. However, i may have all the parts you need . i parted out a 52 patrician/400 that had manual steering on it. i may have those parts left lay'n around.
