I have not been on here in awhile and probably has been answered, but just saw the Mobil 1 Classic Motor Oil Synthetic. Is this something I should consider for my 1940 Super? If yes, over the years have always used the old fashioned non synthetic oil. If switched to the Mobil does anything else need to be done other than a full oil drain to switch over? My rear rope crank seal has a bit of a weep, will this cause more of a leak? Just saw Lucas has a 10-30 classic oil, good?
And lastly, doing a valve job, do you put any lubricant on the valve stem upon reassembly, or leave clean and bare?

Also, in doing this are there any hydraulic lifters available? Would like to purchase a couple good ones just in case?

Yes (if the price is okay for you), no, no (probably), no idea, YES - lubricate with motor oil or engine assembly lube, of course; why would you ever assemble any moving parts dry?
