1) Used in most early-mid 1930's Junior and Senior Packards.
-1932-34 Senior: 3 were used in each left, center & right back brackets + 1 in map/reading light + 1 in radio control head option.
-1935-37 Senior: 2 were used in each left & right back brackets + 1 in map/reading light + 1 in radio control head option.
-1935-36 Junior: 1 was used in each left & right back retainer + 1 in clock + 1 in radio control head option.

2) Aftermarket sockets DON'T have the external ring. The one we built properly fits & electrically grounds to Packard 3-prong instrument lamp-bracket spring fingers.
a) These have copper ring soldered to socket.
b) Single conductor is 18 ga black-braid (Brillman) copper wire, crimped-then soldered to the bulb inner contact; 24" flying lead length.
c) Isolation fiber washer and retaining spring caged into unit.
d) Continuity & isolation tested.
e) Finished to match socket, except for electrical ground contact surface/edge ring.
