Any takers yet? I could use one, I have a 47 Custom Super Clipper with Overdrive in it. Not sure if that would be correct for my model.

I would like a flat scan of both sides, please, so I can reproduce it.
And measurements. Or, if Wes doesn't take it, I'd love to have it.

The card is spoken for by Evan in California. He was first to respond. I will try to get a scan of it for you though before I send it. It only has printing on one side, the back is blank.

I just realized I had a scan of another card on file. Here is a reproduced image. It is as exact as one could possibly get. I made sure each letter was spaced exactly as the original.
If anyone would like to have a hi-res pdf so that they can print it out onto card stock, just send me an e-mail. The black border around the edge is just for size and to show the rounded corners of the original. Same for the round circles at the top, depicting where the string hole would be. I'm told that the instructions are the same whether for R-9 or R-11.

Yes and No. The OD operates essentially the same but the R11 did not have the indicator light as operators of previous Packards were used to. When the R11 was retrofitted or with the mid series R11 introduction in new cars, the card was to be placed on the gearshift lever to remind operators the R11 was slightly different in operation. As the card pointed out it was necessary to judge when OD was ready to engage by speed instead of the indicator light. In Service Counselor 23 #2, where the R11 was introduced and differences in mechanical and electrical explained there is also a view of the card and a new page that was to be inserted in operators manuals explaining the new operation.

Did they have a card like this for the V8 standard cars?
What did it look like?
