I well could have the dates screwed up as I mentioned -- just in the wrong way -- although the one is 5 years old so even though I was wrong interpreting them, it's still getting close to the max.

Too bad they're not Raybestos hoses. I would have much preferred them but Autozone only had these crosses in the typical overseas stuff -- which I found out after I ordered and received them.

I don;t know. Maybe my wine fogged memmory is Zig/Zagging tricks on me but is that the same source that brought us 1965 Packard V13 SUV MiniVans some 10 years ago and wheels that split because someone mounted radial tyres on them????

Or, in the immortal words of Pink Flyod " Wheeeeeeew".

Turner is a long time Studebaker guy and has designed and been selling disc brake and other kits for Studes quite a while.

No, but I recognize that name as a supplier of a front disc brake kit for Avanti and Studebaker cars, which uses GM calipers and Ford rotors.

Originally, it was marketed to replace the OE front disc brake system supplied by Bendix, which built them under license from Dunlop. (Girling later acquired the Dunlop line.)

It mite still be interesting to see how ez or difficult it is to make the nomenclature on the hose disappear. I have noticed that print on fuel line hose seems to be very durable.
