After you check the ground, I not sure, but on the 42 limo it ground to the frame under the seat, so make sure there a second also a ground strap from the frame to the engine, or run another ground strap from the battery post to the start ground side or course. This solve a lot of issue with starting.

My super-8 is a beast to start when in warm, I got a dual voltage battery setup, but I don't like all the extra wires.
