Flack, right you are, I had delved away from fact to fantasy. The up side of the 12V Cummins is that it is a much simpler looking engine, and fits the period better. A 4BTA in a Packard six would also look great, but they are a lot harder to find, and still heavy.
BDC, any pictures of the RH side to see how the turbo is plumbed? Is he running an intercooler?
