Another important consideration when installing the studs is depth of insertion. You want just enough but not too much thread extending above the head. I measured the head with gasket thickness, added the washer thickness and made a gauge from a block of wood. I then tightened each stud to the same depth. I used Locktite and was quick to install the head and torque the nuts so that the thread locker hadn't dried. Threads on the acorn nut should be lightly oiled to get an accurate torque reading. Bob
