thank you for this detail, it shows that what was under my car is completely wrong. Today I am going to remove the booster, evidently its froze up and not functioning at all.
Thank you for helping me out with this... This car has been real troublesome, unlike any i have restored so far, everything on this car was wrong, or didn't function as need be, hopefully Im near the end of all this.

Good Morning...Just imagine what we all could learn if your Packard could talk and detail how your brake system ended up as it has! By the time some of these machines were to their 4th owner or so, they were 'Repaired' with anything that might work! We see all sorts of strange repairs in the garage where I volunteer on Fridays! Surprisingly, a few of the strange repairs actually work pretty well. Have a great Packard day. Ernie in Arizona.
