Maybe check with these guys on the best way to ship and the cost
packardmotorcar.com/index.php/trim-strip/ I had to ship much shorter front section exhaust pipes from a ‘61 Jaguar. I wrapped in foam and bubble wrap and named it The English Patient. The fact is, I still have a pair of lovely Clipper outside rocker moldings. Don't be scared, be creative. Relays, friends, pick up at Hershey. Going without or spending more on repairs isn't an option, or is it?
