Bob, Thanks! My engine does not have a rectifier. I do see that you have the fuelizer on your manifold. I need help with re-assembling my fuelizer after having it porcelained. I need to know the order that the parts go back in the manifold. Would you be able to help. I can send pictures of the parts. Again, thanks.

I have the plate that covers the hole in the back of the cylinder wall with the gasket and two bolts. The solder is applied to the removable plate which bolts to the cylinder wall. Is there a piece that went in the hole which is soldered closed? I hate to sound dumb but I can not find any info on this topic in my Packard shop manuel or owners manuel. Suggestions are welcome. I am trying to post some pictures just without success.
