If you are willing to do a little nerd work, you could place a digital recorder near the tranny, do your run, then find the place in the recording with the noise. Trim the recording to contain the noise, and post it.

My hearing is not very good, so I sometimes use this trick when someone tells me there is a 'funny noise' coming from 'back there'. It doesn't always work, as the area noise sometimes covers the 'funny' noise.

Just a thought.
