There are no mounting brackets that I recall. The glass is held in by the rubber with a decorative trim inside and out. You can see my listing for the ones I have here But I’m not there at the moment to be able to take any measurements.

The factory service manual arrived today, not great pictures but it seems to indicate that there is something on the inside of the window that holds everything together. The outside molding is for decoration. I may just fab something up. I wonder if they do fit the 51 but only the 300-400. Just cant think of a reason they would be different. The research continues.

The inside is more or less decorative but I’m sure that it, along with the outside trim, do firm up the installation even though it’s essentially the rubber that holds it all together.

OK, I think I got my head around it. It looks like there are vertical brackets on the inside that locks the gasket in place. Another part to find but at least I know what to look for. Thanks for everyone's help.

Again, nothing locks it in place as such other than the rubber itself. The rest is pretty much decorative.

The rubber is what primarily holds the rear window in place, but it is "locked" in place by the exterior trim which bolts through to the little clips on the inside and the two vertical bars/brackets between the three pieces. (The holes where the bolts go through the window gasket need to be sealed.) The interior trim pieces are decorative.

I may even have some of those but had forgotten where they came from as I removed this glass close to 40 years ago!

OK, so in my parts for the car I have a bent flat metal with clips attached. I assumed that was the lower bracket for the gasket, it seems to fit but may have been bent. I don't yet have the gasket. But in the photos it looks like they are individual clips. I will grab a photo of what I have next time I am at the storage unit. Thanks.

Interesting that the link for your work shows the posts in reverse order. I’ve never seen that before. Turned out the sort order was reversed but only on that thread and as the setting is in a pulldown, I’m not sure how it could have been switched accidentally! Anyway, fixed now.
