My 56 wheels, all 10 of them, have locating holes. I always assumed that 55 and 56 Sr. wheels were identical.
The regular wheels, as well as the wire wheels, are all MOTOR WHEEL. I doubt they would have changed them as long as they would bolt up.

The odd shaped locating holes may have been made to hold spring clips for a hubcap.
The red wheel looks like it came off a farm implement.

Mine have a cover over the holes and i cant remove the cover.....JK.
