Thanks for the tip and info on the Auto-Lite catalog. He is the one selling on E-Bay and it looks like he has the item. I will call Max and Kanter Monday to see if they have the part. If not it looks like $60.00 for a set of points. He also wants $12.00 for shipping!

For an AutoLite, check and see if an Standard AL-869 set works. That's what I used in quite a few AutoLites of that era and it's regularly available at parts stores for about $12.00. If it does indeed fit, don't buy just one set; as I've said so many times about points, regulators, brushes, caps, rotors, etc., this stuff won't be around from the major auto parts stores much longer - time to stock up.

I believe the Echlin AL 869 is a condensor.

Finally got tired of searching and purchased the points from Max @ $15.00. I have them in hand and will get the tune up accomplised when the snow is gone
