I like this one a heck of a lot more - very nice attention to detail and accessories. If you get serious about this one, I believe it is still in Dallas and I would be happy to go look at it/drive it for you. I'll take Jim Hollingsworth with me....

Agreed. This one passes the photos test. However, it still needs to be seen in person. If it gets Jim Hollingsworth's approval, then all you need to do is agree on a price.

After taking a closer look at the photos on eBay, it appears to be an older restoration with some miles on it. It's not going to win top prizes anymore, but it's perfect if you're more interested in using it as a "driver."
That said, the "Buy it Now" price is top retail. Realistically, it should be ready to win the top prizes. It's moving into the price range of accepted and desirable "Classic Cars", which hold their value much better than the junior series cars, and usually move up in value faster. It's okay to overpay for the right car, though, if you are not intending to get your money back in the short term. The nice thing about this car is that it doesn't have to be re-restored in order to bring it back to show condition. The last one could not be upgraded without restoring it completely. Good luck!!!

Appreciate your comments, based on another one of these that was mentioned on here recently I seem to see decent ones around this price, this one started out at crazy numbers and now its it a little too high, but really doesn't need anything and driver is what I want it for.
I appreciate the offer of some experienced "eyes" and I'm going to try and work out the details tomorrow and set up a trip next weekend to go down and see it, if anyone has time and interest could always use the input. Thanks, I'll update this if I get the deal done.

Good luck. I really like the fact that it doesn't have running boards nor sidemounts. Both BIG pluses in my book.

West, of course it doesn't have sidemounts - it's a 110.
I'd like a lesson from Chapter 41 - I've seen "One Ten", "Special", and "DeLuxe" scripts - there is none on this car. Correct or missing?

That caught my eye as well - I don't have an explanation but have not seen that model w/o one of the 3 designations you noted.

Isn't the 110 designation in the round section of the hood latch? It was in my 41 110

I can't make out the emblem in the hood latch/louver, but yes they change by series. The scripts are in addition, usually in each side of the hood and on the trunk
