I responded:

BDC,

Thanks for the heads up! From that, then found I'd had some Forum interaction with Warren when he joined PackardInfo a few years ago. Including, just imagine, inviting him to enter his Packard in the Registry. I'll update his entry once I have included my '49 '50.

Finally from 58L8134:

Hi Mal

Congratulation on becoming "the man who owns one", again! Your new '49 '50 looks to be in fine condition, should be an enjoyable driver.

Steve

After all that time travel, "Back to the Future" comes to mind(after all it had a bathtub Packard in it, didn't it), it's now the present and any posts will be done in real time!

Kev,
for locking the WW Blog.

Won't forget the avatar, just have to figure out how to "shrink" the photo to the right size.

Think the skirts have been removed at some stage in the cars life.

JW,

Looking forward being at the wheel of my own Packard again. Although I did drive a mates '35 Eight 200kms each way to a show and back a couple of weeks ago, so it hasn't been cold turkey.

Mal, in case of any trouble, please don't hesitate to send it to me to have the pic shrinked.

Good Evening Mal...Here is hoping that you really enjoy your 23rd series Packard. We certainly enjoy ours. She goes to the hardware store, the barber, the grocery store, out to breakfast and all sorts of places around our home in Scottsdale, Arizona. She receives all sorts of positive thumbs up signals and an occasional 'What the hell is that?' Oh well! Ernie
