Not much work done on the '37 in the last few weeks as we have been hosting two French exchange students for the month of July.

But we have taken them to a few cruise nights. Here are the cars on Thursday at the Geneva Cruise Night.

Old car ownership much easier in summer as explaining your car and work you did is a lot easier and more enjoyable than the actual work. People who have done it understand the time and effort needed to restore and keep old cars on the road.Summer is to get you ready for winter work ENJOY heat cold coming

We were out at a local restaurant enjoying a dinner and drinks on their patio. It was sunny and beautiful. Then we heard a Crack of thunder and saw a very dark cloud inbound.

So I ran to tarp the convertible.

90 seconds later it poured for about a half hour.

Driving away after it stopped and the tarp was pulled.

On the way to church this morning in the '37, we lost a trunk rack knob. We managed to find it about 3/4 mile away from our house. It took some damage, but still useable.

So to prevent that in the future, a little modification was made. I drilled a 1/16th hole in the side of the shank and once put back in the rack, installed a cotter pin. Everything still works like normal, but now the knob can't fall out.
