Kev, based on the 1954 Patrician, the B pillar beltline trim piece has a threaded stud and a attaching nut inside behind the upholstery.

Dave, thanks for that. Curious about the other two pieces of B-Pillar stainless that do not use a threaded stud. Not sure if they use a push on clip from the backside, or a tubular nut from the front side.

Just more of the same, installing stainless. Also I reinstalled the door pillar button bumpers. My originals were still in good shape. I did discover that I am short about 5 square prong clips that hold the stainless to the top of door frame, and also 7 spring wire clips that hold the stainless to the bottom of the door frame. These are tall and narrow, and have a short prong so they won't hit the glass. (Pic below) anyone got any of either to spare?

WRT center pillar trim, Gr. 30.045 (belt) and 30.121 (top) show #10-24 nuts for threaded studs on those small pieces of trim. With no corresponding listing in the Utility section, there's no additional detail, but same nuts are shown, in Gr. 30.7805, for the front fender side moldings.

Gr. 30.1201 (bottom) shows a "clip", but no detail - P/N PA437158. I'm wondering if that's same as P/N 437158 that's used (same Group/position) for trim that has smooth studs on the 55-56 sedans. Not sure how it's installed, but that P/N has come up in a couple of past threads, here.

I have checked Clips and Fasteners. The problem is those two outer door window moulding clips are pretty specific. Not as universal as the belt line trim. I may have to cut down the prongs on the spring clips to use them. They are too long and would contact the window glass. The square clip is a different beast all together, but I have to keep looking in my parts caches, as I am sure I had all of those at one time. But I do know several of the spring clips broke upon removal from rust.

Brian, thanks for that information on the B-Pillar trim, that helps.

Just conferred with Ross. He has some of the square clips and it going to send them out to me. The shorter style spring clips are NLA, and his solution was to cut down the prongs on the larger clips to clear the glass. So that is what I will do. Also he had some decent trunk bumpers from his east part cars that are not petrified. unlike the ones here on the west coast, so those are coming in a care package from him.

Thanks Ross!

Good more of the side trim on. Also installed the door handles on the drivers side. Not 100% impressed with those new berillium copper door clips. They are extremely fragile. Installed the door frame b pillar trim as well. Cut down some large clips I had to be able to make them work to hold the lower door frame stainless in.place.
