Chiang Kai-Shek (fourth from left), a Chinese war lord who was elected President of China in November 1928 obviously preferred Packards.
The below shown pictures were taken 1943 in India. Both Clippers seem to be equipped with flagstaffs.

Well, that's not the best picture quality, I admit, but it is the thought that counts. On display in Amman is one of many cars of Hussein of Jordan.

In 1940 His Majesty Farouk I, by the grace of God, King of Egypt and the Sudan, Sovereign of Nubia, of Kordofan and of Darfur drove ... what do you think?
Years later a couple of dozen Clippers (and other cars) parked in his garage.

Thanks Deskdriver.

Today a pic, which looks like a pattern for a painting. Queen Wilhelmina of the Netherlands and Mr. Roosevelt, Aug 6, 1942.

I must admit to be no shoe expert like you are.
Wilhelmina as an old style lady would probably wear a less ordinary brand.

Hi Guscha

To see FDR apparently standing is all the more remarkable when one knows he did so by shear force of will as well as assistance by the aid of another. This photograph of FDR being fitted with leg braces was never released for the public to see in that era. He's riding in a Duesenberg J Tourster phaeton by Derham.

Steve (58L8134), thanks for the valuable input. Nowadays even his braces are part of exhibitions.
