As I mentioned previously someone upgraded the lower seals with rubber disks. Works great.

I am in need of the screw that holds the antenna on the fender-3/4"-28 I was told used on 48-50 antennas. Currently using an Ariens nut used on a lawnmower!!!

As per post 15, I now have the stinkin thing apart It was stuck most of the way out. Now that I have it apart I know why. The mast has a slight kink in it about 1/2 way down and the second stage is caught in the kink. Now the age old question. What about Mr. Wojak. In my searching I came across a posting on the Cadillac/ LaSalle forums from March of this year. He stated that he had called Mr. Wojak in 2014 and that he still had antennas for sale then and that he wintered in Florida. I would like to see if I can get the mast repaired, or buy one to fix my antenna. I know Mr. Wojak is in his 80's. Or, does anyone know if there is someone that has taken over this service?

If it won't move, get a bigger wrench.
If it breaks, it needed fixing anyway.

I haven't heard anything recently about Sandy Chirco (Tuscon Packard), he was having some severe health issues a while back. But as of a couple of years ago he had someone remasting power antennas.

Tucson Packard website was off line for quite some time but seems to be active again. It might be worth an inquiry to see if they still have the service.packardpartsonline.com/index.html
