I replaced the brake light switch of my 55 Clipper using DOT5 brake fluid twice in the four years it was with me. The Clipper has standard suspension and standard brakes. My replacements were the NAPA switches. A clue about impending failure was additional pedal pressure being needed to make the switch work.
