Most mopar nuts love the Cummins...not the Dodge. I agree it is an amazing engine! But if they had put in a Detroit instead, would you be the same fan? Or maybe they should have used a Daimler like they brag about being connected with? Oh wait; Chrysler is bankrupt and Mercedes is lucrative? Hmmmmmmm. I'm not trying to be an A-hole. But....?

Ask ANY diesel mechanic about the Daimler engine, and see what their opinion of it. The Cummins is a LOT better engine.

Im a dodge guy through and through, and my family has been running MoPars forever.

I Love the Cummins engine for its strength and reliability.

If they put a detroit in it, i would love it, because i like the detroit engine too, but not as much. (i mean the 2 strokes) not the series 60.

Eric, the cummins is a far superior engine!

mike, you need to look at the how old are you post in the genral forum! it has a list of the fleet! and once you read it, you will see the commemt at the bottom about prob. for got some. and i did! i have thought of at least 3 more!
