Okay thanks, those are the ones used in the shifting arms at the bottom of the steering column.

Dell, sorry I had thought I had sent you a PM but I guess I didn't, I will try again. I've been having back pains so not too much crawling around in the car. Thanks, on the Spacers but I'm good.

Got everything cleaned up and back together, Using Quick Glow to polish the chrome. Saw this on Jay Leno and figure I would try it. I like it so much I bought another jar. Also painted everything and after a time got it all back in place. Shifter was a little tight, so gave the lower bracket One full turn up to take the pressure off the shift column at the upper collar. Shifter feels good now, can't wait to get it out. Got all lights working on dash and all outside lights working correctly. Checked fans, both working. Maybe while I've got the seat out I need to check the core under the seat for leaks. There are no hoses hooked up to it so I'll need to find a drawing showing how to run the hoses. I removed the rubber at the transmission and install a steel bushing, so we'll see how it works in the near future.

I have not seen any drawings of the underseat heater hose layout for the Clippers but maybe someone has the accessory sheet and could post. If hot here is what I found.

Starting at the sort of wrap or bend over the hose guides on the frame near the exhaust pipe the hoses stay on top of the frame and go under the body between the frame and body. Inside hose connects to the defroster unit and outside hose goes to the water pump with a support clamp holding it about midway on the inner fender. There is a screw on U shaped clamp which is located on one of the stiffening cross channels welded to the body right after the hose passes under. Hoses go rearward to a second U clamp on another stiffening channel then drops down to pass under the trans at the opening at the center of the frame X. There is a U clamp on the passenger side of the opening to keep hoses under the tailshaft and I cannot remember for sure but there may be another clamp on the drivers side of the opening. If your car is like mine the center clamp(s) will be hidden and totally covered with grease and dirt. If no drivers side clamp then hoses just lay flat and exits out the other side of the opening to gently drape up and clamp at the heater tubes.

I'm sure that there was a specific order in which it usually connected but I can't image how it could possibly matter! Hot water through a coil is hot water through a coil and should put out the same heat either way. It would mainly be a matter of tidiness and logistics that make the routing look good.

ptv, I did use a spare Bushing - Shaft (3.3305) in place of the rubber bushing. It fit like it use made for it, meaning nice tight fit and still movable.

Does the shifting arms at the engine and bottom of the steering column align any better than before?

ptv, the main difference I noticed is that shifting (while still and engine not running) is that when going from Reverse or First to the Neutral position the shift falls forward like it should. (Due to the spring in the shift column.) Before it was tight in the Neutral position and no play to speak of. Also the Shift Arms look like they're not at too much of a bind.
The other main thing that I was looking at repairing was my Directional Signal Switch, now I've got both Left and Right lights blinking.

So everything is cleaned up and lube, just need to put the battery tray back in and seat back in.

Got the front carpet out and cleaned up, ready to go back in. Looks like somebody was enjoying it around the base, also had to repair the rubber insert of the brake pedal, backing was missing so cut out a piece and glued it on. Still need to pull the heater and have it checked for leaks.
